Vintage Blue Zircon Diamond Ring 18ct Gold Platinum

Classic Mid-century halo ring, set with a round cut blue zircon surrounded by 14 sparkling mix cut diamonds.

The zircon and diamonds are set into platinum, the band is 18ct yellow gold.

During the Middle Ages, people believed that zircon could induce sleep, ward off evil, and bring prosperity and wisdom. Blue zircon was popular during Victorian times and frequently adorned jewelry from the 1880s.

Zircon: 2.6ct, 8mm diameter 

Diamonds: 0.03ct each x 14, 0.42ct total

Height: Sits 5.7mm off the finger
