Sapphire Diamond 9ct White Gold Ring

Beautiful solitaire ring set with an oval cut lab grown blue sapphire. The sapphire is a gorgeous rich shade of royal blue.

The shoulders are pave set with a total of 10 round brilliant cut natural diamonds in a 9ct white gold band.

The first synthetic sapphire was successfully made in 1873 by the flux method. This was followed shortly by the flame fusion method in 1902. They feature prominently in Art Deco jewellery and have the same chemical composition as earth mined sapphires.
