9ct Gold Tanzanite Ring

Pre-loved sleek contemporary style 9ct yellow gold ring, set with a glacial emerald cut natural tanzanite. The tanzanite is a beautiful pale shade of blue-violet, set in a raised east-west semi-bezel mount.

Tanzanite is a blue-violet variety of the mineral zoisite. It is named after Tanzania, where it was discovered.

It stands out because of its “trichroism”, which means it appears to change colour from blue to violet when turned in the light.

The ring is in excellent condition with very little sign of wear.
