Antique 18ct Gold French First Communion Medal Pendant

A beautifully detailed antique heart shaped French 18ct yellow gold pendant, with decorative rococo-style border.

The pendant depicts a chalice surmounted with a white metal wafer, flanked by a grapevine and a sheaf of wheat, representing the first communion.

Engraved to the reverse are the initials of the recipient & the date of her first communion in 1907.

Inscription: Monogram & '28.04.07'

Size: 25mm x 21mm

Hallmark: French Eagle’s Head for 18ct gold & a further hallmark likely the maker's mark.

Weight: 1.3g
